Hey all! It’s that time to talk about things we love! My goal here is to highlight the somewhat small things that can make a huge difference in our day to day. Come this way as I share a few of mine.
So I work at a school and one thing I love is getting to crash the kindergarten PE class. (We don’t really crash. The PE teacher gives us the thumbs up for sneaking in.) I got to play with the parachute recently and it was SO MUCH FUN! They loved it and I loved it. We did that thing where you lift the chute up high and then pull it down and get inside it. Ah the memories. Also there’s something so pure in getting to do it with these teeny tiny little humans. I love it and them
So it wasn’t until we’d finished trick or treating and were home that I realized I didn’t take a single picture of my kid’s in their costumes. I love that I made them easy to put on so I could quickly shove them back into the costumes and take photos for the grandparents. Hurray for easy to wear costumes!!
Today (when I’m posting this) is Dia De Los Muertos and I wanted to share the earring I found (and bought) at our cities Dia De Los Muertos festival. I love going to this every year. It makes me feel close to my dad and I love sharing it with my kiddos. Every year we go the kids have such a good time and always surprise me. This year my son wanted to put the name of our frog that passed away on the community alter and was overjoyed to get to do it. “He’ll know we still love him. Just like your Dad.” Naturally I cried but that’s the beauty if this. It’s ok to cry and miss those we’ve lost. You’re among many who feel the same as you. If you have a chance to go to one close to you I’d suggest you give it a try.
What are things you’re loving? Lemme know!
