Every Friday we’ll pick a theme and then five things (hence the name! We’re so original!!!!!) that fit that theme. Feel free to make your own choices in the comments, or send them to us on Twitter. It’s the start of a new year, but instead of doing the same old resolutions that end up making us feel kind of crummy about ourselves because we never keep them, today we’re talking about things that we resolve to do more of in 2017 – because they make us happy!
I fell out of the habit of watching wrestling several years ago because the quality of the product was going way downhill. But recently that level has been raised, especially in the NXT promotion, and I’ve found myself enjoying it the way I used to. I’ve made it a goal to at least keep up with the weekly airings of NXT this year. Every time I watch it it makes me so happy.
I work with horses every day, but I don’t get to see my favorite guy often enough. He lives about an hour and a half away from me now and it’s difficult to get up to visit him. He’s in good hands and happy, but I miss him so much. So my goal is to schedule “DO NOT CANCEL” time to hang with Jack at least once a week. Not a hardship.
I actually enjoy exercise in the sense of getting out and moving my body while having time formyself. I was good about it too until November. That’s when life really kicked into high gear and I fell out of it. I miss it for the biggest reason of it helped me sleep better. I need to not feel bad about taking the time for myself.
Did I mention that last year was hard? It was. I spent so much time solving issues in my life I didn’t have it in me to create. I love sewing. I’m not great at it but I love the process of making things. It makes me happy. I have a few things I really want to make and I think this year I’m gonna try.
