Favorite Apps (For Fun or Productivity)

Some apps keep us sane during boring meetings while others keep us on track. These are our favorites.

Lauren’s Pick: Libby

My favorite app for productivity might not seem like it’s for productivity. I spend the majority of my work day in the car driving from client to client. So to keep me company I listen to audio books. My newest favorite app is Libby, by Overdrive. This is a player that allows me to easily borrow an audio book from my local library and listen. There are other options out there to do this exact thing, but I feel like Libby is the easiest and most user friendly option.

Liz’s pick: Trello

I LOVE ORGANIZATION APPS, but I’m super guilty of downloading them and then not using them. Or jumping from app to app and then never actually being organized. I had to download and actually use Trello for work, and now I’m obsessed. I use it for everything. I use it for to-do lists, but you can customize it in a million ways. What I love is the flexibility, and the collaborative aspect (you can share boards that update in real time), and how it integrates with other apps. We use it for our post calendar and planning here at Keysmash, and it’s been a lifesaver.

Mel’s Pick: Best fiends

I love this game. I’m on level 545. It’s gotten me through some hard times. And by hard times I mean boring meetings, sleepless nights, and family events I didn’t really want to be at anyways. It’s a puzzle game where you have to figure at a new tasks to accomplish each level. I don’t feel too bad because it’s all about problem solving right?
